1. Website Visitors

Like most website operators, buying collects non-personally identifiable information typically provided by web browsers and servers, such as browser type, language preferences, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. buying collects non-personally identifiable information to better understand how buying visitors use their websites. buying may release non-personally identifiable information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing reports on trends in the usage of its websites. buying also collects potentially personally identifiable information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and users leaving comments on our blogs. buying discloses logged-in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally identifiable information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left. buying collects such information only as necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with buying. buying does not disclose personally identifiable information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally identifiable information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

2. Customers

The amount and type of information buying gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Some visitors to buying's websites choose to interact with buying in ways that require buying to gather personally identifiable information. For example, when becoming a "customer" (meaning you have registered with buying to use its applications or related products or services), registration requires the provision of an email address, password, and PIN (collectively, the "Registration Information"). To take full advantage of the Services, you must also provide your third-party account credentials ("Account Voucher") to allow buying and our partners access to your account data at other financial institutions ("Account Information") for use by you. To help the government fight terrorism financing and money laundering, federal law, the USA Patriot Act, requires financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. Therefore, when applying to become a customer, buying will collect personally identifiable information about you personally and your business, on behalf of its partner financial institutions, to establish and maintain your account. Personal information may include, but is not limited to, your name, personal address (residential address required, no P.O. boxes), date of birth, Social Security number (SSN), and other similar information. Business information may include but is not limited to your business name, tax identification number, business address, business phone number, business bank account information, related documents, and contact email address. Additional information may be requested at the time of account opening and throughout the account relationship to meet regulatory and legal requirements. By choosing to provide us with personal, business, financial information, and financial data, you agree to transmit and store such information on our servers located in the United States.
